Amber was toothless, but fit and healthy, although less active than it used to be. Diane attributes the longevity of Amber reduced to a diet that included cod hot chicken and shrimp, in addition to regular cat food. In March 2005, the oldest living cat (verified) was 23 years old Spook from Ontario, Canada.
